Corporate Philosophy
HONORING JAPANESE HISTORY AND BEAUTY,
REVIVING THEIR ESSENCE FOR THE MODERN ERA.
Since our founding, we have been dedicated to capturing the singular aesthetic essence of the Sengoku period.
This era was marked by explosive political, military, and economic evolution.
Coinciding with Europe’s own Age of Discovery, it was a time of global transition—vividly illustrated by the arrival of Nanban culture and its rich cross-cultural influence on Japan.
In this crucible of change, a bold and unprecedented artistic vision emerged.
Rooted in Zen philosophy, this spirit infused everything from the tea ceremony and samurai attire to painting and architecture, creating a majestic legacy that echoes through the centuries.
Our mission is to trace these enduring philosophies and forms, reimagining them with contemporary expression to deliver masterpieces and consulting services that profoundly inspire and resonate today.

Our company, alongside the artisans and creators we collaborate with, pursues raw authenticity—grounded in real objects, real places, and real facts—and is thoroughly committed to craftsmanship that dedicates ample time to in-depth research and study. With a deep focus on expressive detail and unique color palettes, we strive to create truly exceptional works. Through continuous dialogue between artists and supervisors, we seek highly spiritual, finely tensioned forms, pursuing a ‘universal beauty’ that transcends mere style and technique.
The Research and Restoration of Sengoku Period Armor: Offering New Sengoku Art
Since our founding, we have consistently dedicated ourselves to the research of armor and attire worn by warlords of the Sengoku and Azuchi-Momoyama periods. Through the restoration of historical armor and the production of meticulous replicas, we have accumulated a wealth of knowledge that allows us to create unique works of art and services found nowhere else. In our armor research, we were privileged to collaborate with the late Mr. Hiromichi Miura, one of Japan’s foremost armor experts. He was one of the few precious specialists in the world to be entrusted with the restoration of the historic armor presented by Tokugawa Shogun to King James of England. Reinterpreting the aesthetic of the Sengoku and Azuchi-Momoyama periods—and the broader beauty of Japanese form—from entirely new methods and perspectives, we are committed to presenting these new art forms to the world.
